LADIES LUNCHEON AND STYLE SHOW

Our 24th event is complete! If you were there, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! The reviews were sensational. If you weren’t there, plan on joining us Thursday, April 25, 2013, for our 25TH Ladies Luncheon and Style Show! It is going to be fabulous!!

Once again, our 2013 event will be hosted at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Club, which is near LaSalle IL.

Our event includes a plated lunch, retail shopping – compliments of some of our fashion providers – and our signature style show, featuring some of the area’s finest retailers.

6th Annual Rally for the Cure -
A Grand Success!

Our 6th annual Rally for the Cure is in the books! On Thursday, June 21st, 84 lady golfers ‘got their pink on’ at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Club, all for a great cause - the Susan G. Komen Foundation! Through registration fees, raffles, mulligans, and a Survivor Ball game, these ladies were instrumental in helping us raise $1720.00 for breast cancer awareness and research. We are proud to announce this brings our cumulative 6-year donation total to $10,720.00!

The golfers’ day began with an early registration and a light breakfast. This year we were very happy to welcome IV Cellular as our breakfast sponsor! Not only do the IV Cell ladies organize a foursome, this year they also hosted our breakfast! Many thanks IV Cell ladies!!

The weather was certainly in our favor as our ladies played 18. A light rain fell for a short period, but it did not dampen our golfers spirits. Along the course they found treats, games, snacks, lots of fun, and even a Pro to hit their shot for them!

A buffet lunch was provided for our golfers after they completed their round of golf. Prizes were awarded for Lowest Team Score (3 tiers), Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt, Longest Drive, the “One Swing Club”, and Best Dressed Team. The Survivor Ball winning team collected half of the cash ‘pot’ collected for the game – a whopping $160! In addition to our golf prizes, many area retailers provided gift certificates or items that were then given as door prizes.

Thank you to all who participated, whether as a golfer, vendor, retailer, or worker! It truly was a great day! So mark your calendar for 2013 – the date is Thursday, June 20– at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Club in LaSalle IL.
